Lee’s Legion dragoons (Eutaw Springs)

I have replaced my “old” version of this unit using a mixture of Perry castings including some head and arm swaps. It is often reported that Lee’s men were sometimes confused with Tarleton’s British Legion loyalist cavalry due to similar clothing. For this reason the most common figure types are actually British Legion figures but with green facings not black and with fewer buttons on their short jackets. These can do double-duty as extra men for Tarleton if needed to. I’ve also included a few command figures from the Perry Lee’s Legion packs, retaining their buff coats with green facings. There’s also a couple of mounted militia figures with head swaps and a couple more figures are in the short jackets but painted as plain linen with green facings for a bit of extra variety.

The look great, as do your bases, it gives each stand an almost diorama quality.
