Title says it all really.
On the wargaming front I have just placed an order for more Baccus austrian napoleonics. This is probably the last such order I'll need to place to get everything Hapsburg finished for Wagram (famous last words).
cheers

Great work so far. Do you have an oob for both sides? If so would you mind showing them ? I am trying to sort out the Army of Italy (Eugene).Oh , Happy New Year and may the blog continue its great standard.
ReplyDeleteI have an OOB for each army. It is a simplified one though, fitting everything into units of 2500-3000 infantry or 800-1200 cavalry.
ReplyDeleteFor Eugene's Army of Italy at Wagram I am aiming for the following bases:
1 x Mixed Elite brigade SK2 (Ital Gde)
1 x Trained Lt Cav (Italians)
6 x Trained Inf SK2 (French)
1 x Foot artillery unit
This incorporates McDonald and Grenier.
Thanks for the idea on the Army of Italy. Sometimes it goes against the grain a bit to remember that some bases are generic and not actual representations of specific brigades or regiments
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year
ReplyDeleteThanks for maintaining this excellent blog and good luck with the preparations for this year's refights.
Regards
Steve,
ReplyDeleteJust placed a big order myself. I managed to paint about 500 Austrians in the last week.
Well done, Matt!
ReplyDeleteI get about 16 infantry or 9 cavalry done a day (in about an hour to 90 minutes).
cheers
