Irregular gathering

Today James, Martin, Dave, Matt and myself got together in Newark and played a big game of Hail Caesar. We brought along all of our late republican roman figures and played a scenario based loosely on Thapsus. We played to an honourable draw in around 4 hours.

Fantastic painting, Steve (and others)! Superb legionaries, and the Spanish look so good in black. I like the loom of the aquarium bushes on the terrain, too; an idea to nick at the earliest opportunity. And do I see Scriv's warrior women warband, in fron tof the nellie, preparing to sell their lives dearly?

Looks great. Sorry I could not make it due to work commitments, but at least my Gauls made it.
